Well, I'm home from having a neuroma removed from my left foot. It was a simple surgery and I was home by lunchtime. I just need to keep my foot elevated as much as possible. I'm on painkillers, too, but am going to try and not take them very much.
I went to work early to drop off lesson plans and type up a quick letter to my parents to let them know I'd be out this week. Hopefully I can go back to work next Monday. I'm one of those rare people these days that is happier at work than at home. I call it my happy place.
I'm ready to take a nap now, so I'll write more later.
