I'm back!

Wow! I hadn't realized I'd been away so long. It's the last day of March. I cannot believe it! I just got back from several days in Florida yesterday. I went back to work today. It was freezing cold out and very rainy. We had the fire alarms go off so had to go outside without coats. We did send the paraprofessionals back in to get coats for the kids. We were outside for almost 20 minutes before the firemen arrived and assessed the situation. Then we were given the all clear to come back into the building.

I came home and took a little nap after work. I was so tired. We got home from Florida at 6pm yesterday. One of my paras also went to Florida over break. Her husband got sick, so they left today. She'll be home tomorrow and back to work on Wednesday. Another teacher friend also went to Florida. Their flight was cancelled so they drove down, too. She told me today that every time they saw a little white car, they'd rush up and see if it was me. They were about 5 hours behind us, but got home before us. They drove straight through. I just cannot do that.

I have tons of IEP's to get ready for and am really overwhelmed. We are in the home stretch, though, so I know I can make it!
